The Indians are not really playing five specialist strike bowlers, when Ravindra Jadeja is one of them. This bloke shot into the Indian team with two triples in Ranji, and isn't much of a strike bowler anyway. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is also a recognised batsman, though far from an ideal strike bowler unless it's green. Batting till eight here.

The real danger for them, though, is when they come out to bowl and the pitch flattens out.

I wonder what to make of Shikhar Dhawan getting this game. He somehow had figures on his side, but looked the weakest of the three openers we've seen play here- no way either Vijay or Rahul should have had to sit out. Rohit Sharma, though still patchy, isn't horrible either, but Pujara needed this game more.
