I see Celtic beat the pub team from Gibraltar 3-0, 3-1 on aggregate. I think they're now ready to take on the Campfire Brownies All Star under XI's.

Pothas keep your filthy hands off Ollie Watkins, he's too good for your lot.
At least you will still get to watch him on TV all the time.

Not that confident we will get him anyway. It could work out ok for you though, there would be a good sell on clause, so you could get a big chunk of money in a couple of years time.

There are some Brentford fans saying they'll get him at a steal because he's out of contract next year, but this is nonsense. he's under 23, and so will go to a tribunal, the only way you'll get him, is if you pay seriously big. sell-on clauses are all well and good (still waiting for Jamie Coppingers, maybe we'll get something for his testimonial, just the 12 years at Doncaster) but cash in bank is the main thing.

Apparently United gave Ibra Martial's number without telling him and he's having a strop about it, which is hilarious.

If Ibra wanted the number of an active player he's a dick. If United gave it to him without consulting the player then that's poor management. I have questions if Ibra will adapt to the league and if he will only be a 1 or 2 season player. Why would you annoy a player who is younger, that you expect to stay for longer, who had a good season, to placate an ego? Ibra still on holiday but already disruptive.

Yeah I don't think we can pay seriously big. Obviously cash in the bank is a big thing but we are a good bet for a sell-on, for one he will play football and then if he is really good then he won't be with us for that long, worked really well for Luton with Gray.

Well by seriously big, I mean by our standards, which is about 1.5 million. We held out with Grimes and we got 1.75 million with no clauses whatsoever, which works out as he's not had much joy in Wales, who does?

Grimes certainly had more kudos with the age group England caps.

Ampadu has made his debut in friendlies, may play at 15, not sure when he'll go, but just hope we can get some decent money for him.

1.5 we can do but it would be a big investment, anything above 2 and there is no chance. Might depend if anyone else is interested.

Whoever's in charge of transfers at Man Utd should be fired.

They're allowing themselves to get utterly trolled over Pogba.

Eh, I've given up pretending money matters to them. They're beyond stupidly rich and always will be as far as I care.

100+ million for Pogba makes Bale worth probably 150+ and Messi **** knows

Tbh, the latter 2 probably make more sense

Why? They don't need a bargain. They can afford anyone. The only thing they need is to win more to keep their brand in the forefront and players like Pogba will bring them that. That's all the bottom line you need to know.
