feel like you could, and should, do cena and friends vs the club at the next ppv, which cena can pin AJ in, and then at summerslam AJ can win clean (or heeling it up by himself if we must)

Logic would suggest that's a good idea, but I doubt it will happen. Can't see Cena losing the blow-off match, clean or otherwise.

I think the biggest talking point of the show, which nobody's talking about, is that Rollins pinned Reigns clean as a whistle.

That and the gestures towards the knee after the win both show they might be trying position him as a face + just how highly the E value him (we knew he was, but not this highly—he really is the new HBK).

Anyway, give me that Ambrose/Rollins double turn now.

That main event finish was ATG.

Countering the spear into pedigree, kick out (Roman so strong), pedigree. Clean win for Seth. Cash in. All three members of the shield were champ within thirty minutes.

Another one that was really obvious was right at the beginning, before the leapfrog by Cena and the single-leg takedown by Styles iirc.

reminder that the draft for some reason is set to happen on the Raw before the next PPV. (July 19/July 24)

So we have the Shield Triple Threat as the main event of Battleground.

I wonder if they'll work it into the draft angle? As in those 3 can't be drafted until the winner is declared, and we get maybe a 2nd championship belt by the result. I don't know why else they wouldn't save this for Summerslam or even Wrestlemania.

seth and roman pinning ambrose at the same time and that's how the title is divided is something I could unfortunately see happening. but then, and I haven't kept an eye on the rumours, I always figured that if Cena & AJ are going to Smackdown, the shield guys will probably stay on Raw.

That Stone Cold Interview was interesting. AJ's a pretty damn intense guy. You can almost see him burning inside when he's saying something he's passionate about.

Anyone think the New Day/Wyatt segment felt somewhat confused? Bray (who apparently is still heel) was basically getting a hero's welcome, and the New Day (who I guess are faces) came across as total dicks by interrupting it. Then the bit with Woods going into a trance was just weird.

Also love how Ambrose wears the WWE title like a star. Just suits him so well. He makes it look good and it makes him look good in a way that Reigns just can't pull off.

Happy for the guy and if Meltzer is correct the house shows he's headlining are doing similar to the ones Roman does. So there shouldn't be a drop off in business (or maybe even an increase) to force a trackback.

Just saw the ppv. Pretty awesome stuff all round. MiTB match was excellent(was pleasantly surprised by how awesome del Rio was... dude can kill it when his heart is in it)

AJ vs Cena and Main event were great as well.

The Michinoku driver onto the ladder resting on its side looked incredibly painful. Must have hurt like hell.

I really liked all the backstage interviews they did before the ladder match too. Managed to hype up the match well. They need to do more of those for stuff like the Rumble as well.
