Reed my outside pick for the US Open, with money on Dustin, Schwartzel, Matsuyama (worried about his fitness though), Koepka and a miniscule amount on Keegan Bradley.

Just I used to back him a lot, it's just a saver at 200-1 really. On the basis if he was to come in and I didn't back him at all I'd be royally pissed off.

Hey he's won a slam, it's not out of the question he could finish top 7. Hey basically I was on the Coral site to put money on Reed and Charl with the 7 places being offered, saw the 200-1 and just included him. Spur of the moment really. Can work on occasions, most times not.

sure he has won a slam but after the broomstick ban, this year he is 121st in the fedex cup, 109th in the world ranking and here are his stats in 2016, play close attention to the SGP rank

It's just realistic, and Garcia and Westwood are there too. Mind you these runs can end, Crenshaw, Mickleson and Kite were all down to be the best never to win a major after a lot of near misses. Crenshaw won two, Phil obviously a multiple, Kite the biggest story at 42 really. They were all older than DJ.

Johnson is admirable in the way he shakes off past disappointments and shows up on almost every major leaderboard...he is also always up there on all the tough courses...much better player in difficult conditions than say Rory...would be a shame if he doesn't win at least 3 majors by the time he is done...he is a HOF talent...

Well he didn't always hase a beard, this is my problem, but I'm just hoping he didn't have a beard before, because of the simple expediency that he couldn't grow one, which is fair enough.

I had a bet with my old man we both picked 3 players before the start. I tookDustin Johnson, Sergio and JDay. I'd love if Westwood or Sergio win but my head says probably someone who doesn't have to finish round three. So Branden Grace or JDay for me.
