Damn that was a sneaky shot. The keeper will probably look at that replay and think he should have saved that though.

Wales would have been flattered by nil. England still managed to be flattered by a win.

Awful, static, ponderous, imprecise rubbish.

Well, we won, which I'm obviously ****ing delighted about, but I feel worse for our chances then I did after the Russia game, just got to realise Russia were shite, and that's the only way Rooney looked good.

Anyway having said that, I think I speak for the country of Shakespeare, Keats, Wordsworth, Byron, Dickens, Austen, Blake, Kipling, Orwell, Eliot and the Brontes when I say:

Best finisher in the country, just hardly ever fit? Could pick him from start for the Slovakia game and he breaks down and is out of the tournament. One to ponder for Woy.
I wouldn't start him, just for the injury reason, start Vardy bring on Sturridge if needed, that way we have pace and finishing ability threoughout the match, which is quite handy.

That would be what I'd do. Whether you start Vardy with Kane or Rashford I don't know. Sterling should be benched and probably Kane should too.

Had to nip out at 75 minutes, England grabbing the winner was so predictable.

Surprised at how poor Kane's been these first two games tbh.

Sterling definitly needs to go, and Kane has looked tired for a few months.

Everyone disagreeing with me about Rooney, but in the end, we were so much better with pace on the pitch. He slows it down so often.

Oh and as I've said before, Hart just isn't very good

Absolutely buzzing. A derby match (if such a thing exists in international football), where they parked the bus but had that magic from Bale, and we came away with the three points. Magnificent.

I thought England were actually a little bit better than against Russia, although Wales were much better than Russia were (but still quite bad). Can't see Hodgson going into the Slovakia game unchanged with the subs making such an impact.

Did anyone else notice, both today and against Slovakia, that Bale is actually kind of lazy? The team desperately needs him to stretch the defence in behind but he hardly ever makes the run.

Be interesting to see how other players who played in Champions League final go through the tournament. Ronaldo looked tired the other night, never really saw much of the Spain match.
