What lead would Lanka need to realistically have a hope to win, if we suppose they can get a substantial lead.. 150/200/250? 150 in the least I suppose though ideally around 300 i think.
250 for a realistic chance. Pitch is getting better to bat on, not worse.

I think 150+ would make it mighty uncomfortable for England after having dominated the match so comprehensively for the first 2.5 days. Fourth innings chases are always tricky.

450 for Jim, and that average falling. Could be under 27 by the end of the summer.
He has picked up his last 50 wickets under 20 runs a piece. And he's nearly 34. Many times I've felt Jimmy was not meant to be in lists with McGrath, Ambrose, Walsh, Hadlee, Marshall, whomever you think is up there. Just not that cathegory. But he has been in god mode for the last 2 years, not?
