RB: Lucas Neill - Generally awesome for Australia, except for that 1 moment in '06 where he really could've done better

LM: Harry Kewell - Most techinically gifted Australia player I've ever seen. The player most responsible for getting me into Football from his Leeds days.
CM: Tim Cahill - WAG
CM: Xabi Alonso - Always one of my fave 'pool players before last season, was stoked when he put it all together though. Shame he left
RM: Andrei Arshavin - Loved him Euro '08, and the games I've seen him played for Arsenal have been amazing. Bloke has character as well

FW: Fernando Torres - WAG Bloke's just awesome really.
FW: Raul - Scored the goal that I thought had put Spain through to the first knockout stage of the '98 WC. Been a fan ever since.

GK: Manuel Almunia. Not very good but he just always looks so bored out of his mind I can't help but love him. Even when he saved that Knockeart penalty he looked like he cbf getting off the ground to save the followup.

RB: Michel Salgado. The guy looks exactly like me except with long blonde hair. Might do a pic comparison soon. It's uncanny.

LB: Bixente Lizarazu

CB: Diego Godin. Him not making the Ballon D'or shortlist last year was a travesty

CB: Alessandro Nesta

CM: Pavel Nedved. Great player. Glorious hair. Complete **** on the field. Perfect.

LM: Robert Pires

CM: Michael Laudrup. Better than that overrated **** Zidane because while he was as effortlessly graceful as Zizou, he also had the decency to look like he cared about what was going on instead of looking totally disinterested. It's a fine line.

RM: Matt le Tissier. Lazily elegant, could do ridiculous things at random moments but ultimately could've done a lot more. Basically a footballing version of VVS.

Strikers : Darko Kovacevic , Nihat Kahveci. Have tons of possibly unwarranted nostalgia for that Real Sociedad team.
