Interesting one (leaving the actual cause to one side). United would have had to try to win in case City slipped up. As it is they might be in a position to avoid the Europa League by manipulating the result. :tabletalk

Excellent, Newcastle lead by two goals again. Can fully see Arsenal conceding an equalizer to bloody Aston Villa though.

I shouldn't be so happy that Arsenal, having had a very ordinary year, are finishing the season by smoking an absolutely terrible opposition to finish second. But given the context I so so am.
