He had no issue going to Chelsea first time around. His personality is better suited to a club like Everton or Liverpool than Man Utd.
I'm starting to feel like we could really use his personality, but it might just be my frustration at how lethargic we are. I feel like the correlation between how well a club performs and how motivated its players are is incredibly strong this year. Spurs, Leicester, and Atletico so obviously give far more of a **** than everyone else. The backlash against the MORE PASSION crowd was long overdue, but it's gone too far the other way at the big clubs.

I think Mourinho works best at an underdog club. Porto, Chelsea first time round and Inter were good examples. Wrong time for him at Utd.

Chavs were hardly an underdog club when they snapped him up. Finished second the season before and the Russian millions were flowing like there was no tomorrow.

Yeah, Chelsea were only underdogs in the sense that they weren't considered the absolute outright favourite.

Possibly, but it's never going to be a perfect match, our options are limited. Even if he builds a team close to the quality of his RM side he'd walk the Premiership. 121 league goals in a season playing more or less the type of football United want to see.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love Portsmouth? Pretty sure I've never called that bloke who rings those bells a ****ing idiot who should be banned from all games, and their other supporters an entitled bunch of tossers.

No I've always loved them, let sing along "Play Up Pompey, Pompey play up" and repeat ad infinitum like you haven't learnt a new song since the 1930s.

Mourinho is just never going to even consider going to a club like Everton. Pellegrini would be ideal really, has a very good record with clubs at that sort of level.

They're minted now aren't they?

They should ask the question. Worst that can happen is he says no. Hopefully he takes the job and finishes the job he starts at Chelsea this season :D

I'm watching "24 Hours in Police Custody", because there's less criminality in this then there was by the Green Slime in that "football" match.

Underdog isn't the right choice of phrase, when Mourinho went there first time round they were a club desperate to show that they belonged at the top table. Yeah Ranieri had taken them to 2nd place but they were still new monied trash who had won one solitary title in their history and were the 4th biggest club in London. Mourinho's carried a massive chip on his shoulder ever since his Barcelona days and Chelsea of 2004 fitted him perfectly.

Why do managers who get sacked repeatedly keep getting high-profile gigs? Seems like such a closed system. I mean, after someone's been sacked from two or three separate clubs within a few years, I'd have thought nobody would want them managing?

So a promoted side finish 13th and reach an FA Cup semi final and get rid of the manager. What exactly do Watford think they can achieve? Very harsh on Quique Sanchez Flores.
