Faulkner's generally been rubbish with the ball against India, hopefully some of this is leaking into the IPL as well

The premier t20 competitions the Natwest Blast and the CPL would have had a last ball finish by now.

yeah there was definitely a period when Southee was a good death bowler. It's not now though.

The dancing girls really irritate me. I'm trying to get my niece into cricket (with some success) and she loves IPL in large part and I do give the IPL big credit for rotating in 4 women as comms but seeing women constantly prancing around doing the same dance moves over and over can't help but hint at what her place is 'supposed' to be in cricket.

I saw cheerleaders during the inaugural World T20. They were terrific dancers. These cheerleaders, a lot of them can't even move properly.

In simple terms, it's the idea that foreign women are ***ually provocative but Indian women aren't. It's racist against both foreign women and Indian women. And it's ***ist as it perpetuates conservative ideals quelling female ***uality.

It's a separate issue to the fetishism of fair skin, which is not necessarily racist but problematic in its own way.

I feel like you're imagining all of that tbh

If the IPL bosses went and had a meeting and deliberately decided to only hire foreign cheerleaders then you might have an argument, however pointless & meaningless, but I'd be surprised if that was the case.
