BARNES OUT
Sergioooo
Losing twice at home to that lot in the same season, ridiculous. We got what we deserved today. Nine home defeats tells its own tale, we've been too ****ing stupid to adapt to the way teams play at our gaff. Away from home we've been fine all season.Meh day for us, obviously want to overtake them, but Wimbledon are in the prime position to make the P-O place, if we can't do it, would be kinda epic to see them in the same division as the Dongs next season.
Anyway, note to self, try not being a bastard to Gimp for the next few days, must be utterly gutted, and even I'm not that cruel.
No, he wasn't. If he was good at them he'd have not needed about so many chances to score 1.Beckham's free kick reputation was propped up by him being quite ****ing good at them.
Scored 65 in his careerNo, he wasn't. If he was good at them he'd have not needed about so many chances to score 1.
Bet you have no idea what rate free kicks are converted on average. No, he wasn't. If he was good at them he'd have not needed about so many chances to score 1.
Yep it's what people don't get unless they've experienced it, players come to these games against once established League teams and play like it's a cup match, whilst they couldn't give a **** when playing someone like Braintree.Losing twice at home to that lot in the same season, ridiculous. Oh well, unless the stars align then another year of this **** it is. Second half of the season has been a lot better so if we can keep the key players and add some quality then maybe we'll actually have a crack next season. But another year of sides with 24 away fans coming here on their big day out and going home with the points just makes me feel queasy.
**** sport
I think my two favourites were the one he scored against Everton in his last game for United and one he scored at Old Trafford at a time where there was that rule where dissent was punished by moving the free kick 10 yards forward. Beckham wasn't pleased because this moved the free kick to pretty much on the 18 yard line where it's hard to get it up then down, so he just smashed it into the top corner at the keeper's side instead.Pretty sure he had a decent record of them to be honest. I can certainly remember quite a few....
I wish you'd tell some of our fans this because they don't believe it.Yep it's what people don't get unless they've experienced it, players come to these games against once established League teams and play like it's a cup match, whilst they couldn't give a **** when playing someone like Braintree.
It's just such a frustrating division.
I liked that rule. Why didn't it stick?I think my two favourites were the one he scored against Everton in his last game for United and one he scored at Old Trafford at a time where there was that rule where dissent was punished by moving the free kick 10 yards forward. Sounds ridiculous tbh.I liked that rule. Why didn't it stick?
The aim at least was to cut out the whole players surrounding the ref etc. Stolen from rugby league if I'm not mistaken. Was good.Sounds ridiculous tbh.
Haha yeah exactly.Booking players for it would work just as well if a ref had the balls.
Still looks very tight for that last play off spot. If Eastleigh lose to Halifax and/or if Grimsby lose to Woking then Tranmere definitely still have a chance.Losing twice at home to that lot in the same season, ridiculous.
