Whole event felt like a middle finger to the Smarks. Sasha not winning the Women's belt, Owens losing his belt and it not being to Sami, Styles losing to Jericho clean, LON beating New Day, Sandow getting dumped out of the Battle Royal straight away, Taker beating Shane and then culminating in Reigns getting booed out of the building. Well done WWE. Well done.

Also, FFS. We're now stuck with the ****ing Authority in charge. Could have had Balor Club shenanigans costing Taker the match setting up The Demon vs The Deadman at Summerslam. But nope, we'll get a 20 minute Roman promo interrupted by ****ing Stephanie and Hunter on RAW. Joy.

Shane's jump from the cell was ****ing awesome though.

Zack Ryder aside (to an extent because the timing was still ****ing weird), it's almost like they're intentionally booking it like this out of spite.....There's no way they are that oblivious to what the fans want.

Even the matches werent all that great.Probably the Women's championship was the only one that stood out.

hey let's not forget that the New Day match was changed from a 4 on 3 handicap to a straight 3 on 3, meaning that the most over guys on the roster jobbed to LON who then jobbed to a bunch of retired guys. but the new day can't really cite the dirty win

also let's not forger that last year Cena and Bryan left with the US and IC belts. this year it's zack ryder and Kalisto (who is cool but is not going to be booked that way).

Posed this question elsewhere earlier, but is there a group of fans who hate their fandom more than Wrestling fans? I think Vidya Gaems are the only ones that are comparable. All I ever hear from modern wrestling fans is how **** it is now. Stop rewarding them with your money, then?

Yeah, the hate is mostly WWE-centric, and even then it's just directed towards the main roster shows.

I actually think there's light at the end of the tunnel anyway, and that's something I wasn't really convinced of a couple of years ago. Triple H has won me over massively with what he's been doing with NXT. Seeing Kota Ibushi, Bobby Roode etc. ringside, and Nakamura dancing to the ring just sold me on it. He knows what he's doing. Vince is completely out of touch (the dude is 70), and he's still in control of the main roster stuff. But in a couple of years, who knows, maybe we'll start to see similar results there as Triple H gets a bigger say in how the show is run.
