Yeah that was there to be hit, he's just missed out. Need Taylor to fire here, in a bit of danger of throwing away the good start.

NZ beginning to slow down noticeably.

Would be rather disappointed with under 170-175. Anything under 170 would make England favourites IMO.

I might be way off, but this pitch doesn't look too easy to bat on, to me. I think the Williamson-Munro partnership may well end up being crucial.

32 in 28, including 12 singles with Munro firing at the other end, is more than just 'run-a-ball'

He was just about to open up before his dismissal too.
If England chase this down with plenty of balls to spare, will your opinion change?

Its still a good pitch; Corey and Taylor just aren't quite clicking and Moeen bowled a pretty good over.

NZ need to push on to 170 ish here. England are being generous with wides.

Nope. The quality of an innings isn't determined by the outcome of the match. He batted well, and was set for the launch but got out before he could get going. That's my opinion.

Eh, I think it looks better than what it was a few days ago and England put 171 on and SL got past 160 with a crippled Mathews and having been 15-4 after 3. I think we'll chase 170, I think 175 is par.

Ali should have bowled that Rash over, but understand with new RH bat why Morgan went for wicket taking gamble.
