Blues need 1.6 more pts than Qld to make the final. A win to the Blues and a Qld loss will see NSW host (Canberra again?)

Hasn't hurt him too much, but. Won a T20 out of nowhere and now this game playing that way. He'll shell the occasional one for sure but he's also literally winning matches off his own bat. Considering first year captain and only 22, not a bad return. Bloke's a leader and if there's one quality which has been missing in an SA team since, well, Siddons....

I'm wondering how much longer Cosgrove has as SA opener. This chase was one an experienced guy like him should have anchored and it's not the first time he's come blazing only to leave the rest of the line-up to win the game. If it's the plan, fine, but I'd be surprised if it was.

Copeland and Bird with ten wickets and the Croweaters pacers back to their early season form. Mennie again the star. Paris continuing to get wickets.
None of the leading batsmen made runs.

Mennie in with a good chance of 50 wickets , Paris now level with Bird for 2nd most wickets,Tremain and Wildermuth have been moving up the list. Copeland is on fire, now 2nd for the 'Tahs after playng only 4 games.

SA bats have let their bowlers down all season.
Tassie just dont have any depth.
NSW have been saved by the return of Copes
Vics batting has fallen in a hole

Only 4 drawn games so far.

Now the end of the season is nigh, some things of note.

Out of 27 games to date there have been only 4 draws. With some games being over inside 3 days.

( If the points from SCG game had been split instead of being given to the Vics, the VIcs would now be third on the table).

Its been a poor year for spinners

Fawad 23 wkts, best 5/24, 12th highest on list, the only spinner to play all games this year.
O'Keefe 17, 4/38, 19th (injured after 6 games)
Swepson 15, 3/64, 22nd
Zampa 10, 2/47, 28th
Agar 9, 2/63, 33rd

No bunsens burners this year.
