Maybe it's good that didn't go to hand. An early wicket may have given rise to false hope.

I'm honestly surprised Khawaja hasn't been hit like that yet, he's been looking away like that almost every Wagner delivery he's faced.

Cricinfo says Baz was too wide. Never would have happened with Ross. No point having a slip stand at position 1.5 in a test.

Still I am not sure here just following on comments.

Seriously, who puts those montages together?! Who actually thinks they add anything to the coverage?

It's so very nice of Boult to feed Khawaja's pads to let him get in and settled. He's such a nice guy.

Boult's shot. No way would a bloke with as big pads as Burns feel so confident in going that far across if he thought one would bend back.

.... Must be coming up 30 so there's no reason he can't be in control of his own destiny and truly prove he is world class. That goes for his batting too, time to stop being a soft **** and contribute to the team in every situation. I've got no problems with Trent, he appears to me to be a much more driven individual..
Mark Watson on 'The Night Train'was questioning Southee's application. He recounted a story of John Wright and Andrew Jones returning to the hotel around midnight to find Hadlee going through his paces in the corridor, saying his trigger words "rhythym, off-stump, hate, Lillee." Southee doesn't do this.

That's the problem with a lot of naturally gifted sportsmen, they rely on their gifts rather than continue to hone and develop their craft. That's what makes Kane Williamson so great versus say Jesse Ryder. Arguably, Ryder is far more gifted as a player than Williamson, but Williamson would hit 600 more balls in practice a week.

To be fair, Hadlee was a crazy person.

It is baffling how he's completely reverted to a bang-it-in merchant. His seam presentation is just so, so poor for his standards.

It wasn't at the start of the match or the first match either, he had good seam position but the ball wasn't swinging and hasn't swung at all post the first couple of overs for any innings. It's probably now a case of just trying to find the pace he used to have. It's been utter rubbish and I wonder why Henry hasn't been given another spell to get used to test cricket.

What I don't like about Henry so far is he still hasn't corrected his length.
