I'll say this too: I guess they booked Brock to be in the main event at Fastlane way, way before they made the decision to have Roman defend the title in the Rumble, which meant Roman would have to win the main event at Fastline. They had two guys in the main event who literally could not take the pin. So Brock didn't actually have to be there, and indeed, his presence muddled the waters. He was electric as always, though.

Is Reigns vs Triple H in 2016 the least exciting Wrestlemania Main Event of all time?

Was really hoping Edge and Christian were going to bring out Enzo and Big Cass to challenge New Day. That would have been epic. Instead, we got ****ing Sheamus. Loved that whole segment though, Edge and Christian are great.

We actually have 6 Raws to Wrestlemania.

And the final four are smark city, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Philly and Brooklyn.

Charlotte vs. Becky vs. Sasha Banks (probable)

Undertaker vs. non roster (rumoured)
Stardust vs. Stephen Amell (rumoured)

And we have the three other titles all seemingly ready for a new feud.

Would love to see a U.S. title ladder match similar to the IC one last year, use guys like Breeze, Neville, the Miz, Heath Slater and Ryback. I think given a few weeks to stake claim the heels would be able to put the faces over with their mic ability, while letting the faces all get away with only needing to rely on their strength, which is flippy ****. **** you Ryback.

Will be interesting to see how they arrange the upper mid cards matches. What are Bray, Jericho, LON, New Day, Ambrose, Ziggler and Styles going to be doing come WM?

Don't mind the main event at all.

IN anticipation it rates behind previous HHH WM main events such as, vs. Michaels and Benoit, vs, Orton and vs. Batista.
While slightly ahead vs, Jericho and vs. Rock Big Show and Foley.

The match will probably be pretty good. Still desperately holding out hope for the swerve though.

Yeahhh, I think I'm finally done. On a conceptual level, I don't really mind what they're doing these days, but none of it excites me at all.

Reigns vs Lesnar had a crushingly boring build. We got a great match out of it though, hope it's the same this time.

I reckon they're trying to bury the Styles Clash tbh. The broken necks have probably scared the 'E off it being used regularly, so it makes kayfabe sense that if Styles isn't putting blokes away with it, but is putting them away with the Calf Crusher, he'll stop using the Clash.

how great would it be if after 16 months of pushing Roman Reigns, HHH decides he should actually win at WM and pins Roman cleanly.

I would absolutely love that. It would be so funny.

Bam Bam vs Lawrence Taylor probably.

In recent memory this is probably the least exciting though. Last WM ME match that I can really feeling ambivalent towards was HHH vs Jericho, I think. Or HHH vs Cena. Neither of those were bad of course, just a bit meh.

Edit: And Cena v Miz was blegh as well.

Edit again: And HHH vs Orton.

Come to think of it, a lot of the least exciting WM ME feuds/matches over the last few years have involved HHH... Unfair not to acknowledge that he has been involved in some v good ones as well, I guess. But still.

so I'm listening to Daddy Dave Meltzer, and he hypothesised that there's no angle to this anymore after tonight, so they gave the win to the baby faces, you know, classical booking or whatever. But they should have given to the Wyatt family and it's just so obvious. Particularly if Weird Eyes is gonna win the Royal anyway.

So anyway, the plan was for Bray to interfere but Dean-Brock is set for WM, for now. Which meant the Titans angle is dead anyway and this tag match was entirely pointless.

Yeah, it really does not seem to make any sense. I'm glad that Dean v Brock is now apparently penned in, because they have been fantastic in their work together so far. I'm quite amped to see how it develops.

The problem is that Dean's spot was obviously intended for the Wyatts somehow, and now they have been left without a programme. Like you say though, they really should have (and I think needed to) win this match. That would have at least kept them strong, and made them look good(ish) heading into whatever they do next. Sadly, however, they've just jobbed out to a bunch of no-hopers (again) and their credibility has been killed off (again). Stupid.

Was decent when they did it last year or whenever it was. Guess it could happen again now that Wyatts are without a feud. Could see them going down a Jericho and AJ v the Wyatts route perhaps. Possibly with Undertaker and Kane thrown in or something. Not the worst possibility I suppose, but ergh, it'd be more of a TV match than anything else imo.

Ive long since given up on the Wyatts. They've ruined them. It sucks, because I'm a huge fan of Bray and Harper.

Whether it's Trips or Roman winning at Mania ****'s going to go completely nuclear and it will be hilariously embarrassing. Meh on the rest of the show as a whole too and there's nothing on the horizon that really gets me excited. Weak sauce.
