Murdoch should have made to Black caps ages ago... He was in great touch earlier this year. Unfortunately at the wrong side of the age perhaps? With some NZ batting spots opening up it seems like that time of year for some first-class stats. Cutoff is 300 runs, PONI or POCWI, sorted by average.

Get that Nathan dude.. he looks bloody good. Sooner the better :-)Smith!
Edgar might be unable to track him down because Otago have locked him away.
Strange as it may sound I predict Ben Sears and Rachin Ravindra to play first class soon. Speaking to one of the Saffie U19 management they thought Ravindra was unbelievable. These lads have massive backing from NZC whether Wellington is looking at them closely or not. The show of confidence in Ravindra was evident when he was made the captain in the last game vs South Africa. They don't go around naming a jsut turned 16 year old as a captain unless they rate him. I'm hoping the lads don't lose their way in the club cricket in Wellington like so many others that have come and gone.Come on. Ravindra was out if his depth at the u19s. He's still just a kid.
I wouldn't blindly go with the stats, Ben Smith, Worker, Popli, Blundell and W Young are all a good chance. These days we seem to get international ready players unlike in the past. I'm thinking if you pick any of these they should be good to go.With some NZ batting spots opening up it seems like that time of year for some first-class stats. Cutoff is 300 runs, PONI or POCWI, sorted by average.
