Really good raw. Miz v AJ Styles was a terrific match. Flowed really well.

I see Reigns doing a heel turn at fastlane. Seen it for last 2-3 weeks. Then we will have Triple H v Brock and Reigns v Dean Ambrose at fast lane possibly..

I am finding it very difficult to get excited at all. Seems to have zero personality. Can obviously wrestle but his offence doesn't have the same energy that dbry had and for a small guy he is not outrageously athletic. Still, enjoy watching him wrestle but looks destined for midcard hell.

Wade Barrett has handed in notice, not renewing his contract.
I wonder how much they lowballed him, believe he was on a fairly lucrative contract before since the last one was offered when he was in the main event scene. Would have been a significant drop no doubt.

AJ looks good. Disagree about the personality, they're looking to give him a slight air of mystique by having the likes of Y2J and The Miz talk about how great he is and then setting him up to prove it's true in the ring.

Dunno where his limit will be in WWE, could've been anywhere but hes getting on in years and they might not see him as someone they want to hand the ball to at this stage of his career. I'm curious what his first post Miz-Jericho feud will be. Those two can make it work against anyone, what will it look like when AJ has to really carry the promo weight in a feud?

I thought he was okay in the earlier matches but the last two, he has looked more fluid. I can see him winning the intercontinental or us championships at some point. How was his career before the WWE? I have seen some of his TNA matches but have no idea how he is considered as a wrestler..

Was pretty much seen as the biggest star not from WWE. Reached the top of TNA, ROH and NJPW. There might be a few Japanese blokes rated as high but he was definitely the most lucrative free agent signed since the death of WCW.

WWE finally using the Network to do their own NJPW-style tournament. Not sure if they'll be able to get 32 good cruiserweights though, unless they're about to do some sort of talent deal with other promotions. at least zack saber jr should be in it

Yeah was just reading about this. They're friendly with a few indie groups right? Can't see the larger ones getting too excited with the very strong likelihood WWE will poach the top talent.

There's only so many unsigned guys they can use from Evolve and the UK. (And probably the hottest one currently is Will Ospreay, who is already set for best of the super jrs).

They won't be able to touch anyone with a contract in any promotion in the world, unless they sort out a deal. NJPW uses their arrangements with ROH and CMLL in Mexico to help fill the pool out. WWE probably won't be able to do that. It'll be interesting, I think they'll be filling some of those spots with completely unknown guys, and/or very green guys. A good opportunity for their scouts I suppose

I think this really signals that HHH's/WWEs approach isn't so much to destroy the indies, but to try make it sure so the first contract an indie guy signs is with the WWE.

Well they've got 28 guys contracted in the performance centre who haven't been on NXT/WWE yet. Some of those guys will surely be in the mix. They've also got about 10 WWE/NXT guys who would be eligible. So they're probably only going to need 12-16 or so guys not already on contract.

Also they'll probably use the likes of Noble, Kendrick and Mercury who are still around/in good relationship.

Ricochet has already confirmed today he unfortunately wouldn't be involved, and he must have some kind of inside scoop with Prince Puma as well because he said he isn't either.
