Gower,Key and Fraser have made their money today. Plenty of commentary work for them today.

Good start by south africa.

Jordan is such a poor bowler, why is he in the team? The only thing he offers is gun fielding.
There's a strange train of thought where he contributes a little bit of everything. He's a classic English bits and bobs player, who's not particularly good with bat or ball.

He contributes absolutely nothing, we'd be better off with a genuine threat quick with how deep we bat, even batting until 9 is more than enough, if you had somebody who's a genuine threat with the ball, which I don't think we have. I'd get Broad in for Jordan, Broad would probably do better with the bat, and whilst he's not as good in ODI's as compared to tests, he's still a miles better bowler than Jordan.

Well Topley was the top wicket taker in RLODC last year, so maybe England should pick whoever was second? :D

Looking like a piece of cake, isn't it. Not only a record run chase but without losing any wickets is looking a distinct possibility.

Why Jordan at this stage?

SA batting unbelievably. I don't understand how Jordan plays in 50 over stuff...

It's a strange pitch or two fabulous knocks, did England make a hash of their 318 or has the pitch got a bit easier?

These two batsmen are very good indeed and England's bowling isn't outstanding if conditions don't help a bit.

We probably should have made more than 318, but we probably needed 350 to be competitive, which was never quite on the cards.

Haha SA kept wickets in hand only with DLS in mind. In the end, it turned out to be an awesome move in general. So, teams (specially teams with top-heavy batting lineup) can learn from DLS how to chase down big totals. Going crazy from ball 1 is not the answer, as long as you don't get badly bogged down in the middle overs).

This guy is going to win us a world cup... I know i know, but he is finally one of those x factor players that could explode in a playoff game and win it singelhandedly.
