Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
It could well be his eyes. He's getting out going leg side every time where he looks to be playing involuntarily, which suggests seeing it late.

Derek's not the answer, his T20 numbers not good. Seifert? Seems early, but T20 is a junk format at international level so why not?
Ronchi was an incredibly inconsistent player when in Oz - literally straight off the SMarsh & North production line of all or nothing cricketers and recorded an incredible number of ducks

Might be just reverting to type

i don't get the boland complaints. sure he wouldn't be your first choice but he's perfectly fine judging by this series.

this series has been a good exposure of some of the shortcomings in both teams. those calling for anderson to drop the bowling and become a test #5 can drop that idea now. he's not good enough. he's a hitter who struggles/nicks off when he's not given width. teams that don't give him the pull shot bail out option don't have nearly as many issues with him.

as it stands i trust santa at #6 in both formats more than him and he can't afford to not bowl.

some australians could do worse than stopping all this **** about Starc, Pattinson and Cummins as an odi attack because "WHEN ITS FIT AND FIRING IT WILL BE THE BEST EVARRR" you sound like a pack of kiwis ffs. just pick hastings, who is actually good and can stay fit to boot. starc is all the 150 clicks you need.
Nah, Boland as been pretty average tbh.

Yeah Starc, Haze, Hastings and Faulkner (with a specialist spinner, Zampa seemingly at this point, in for Faulkner or Hastings if conditions suit) is realistically the full strength ODI attack. Pattinson isn't awesome at ODI cricket and Cummins is always injured to the point of irrelevance.

Boland is dire though. Need to find a better backup bowler than him.

Reminder even if Uz scores a ton here we'll be sneaking back into bed with Aaron "I have more skin folds than brain cells" Finch
Nah they'll just drop Bailey and bat Khawaja @ 3 if FInch comes back

Khawaja isn't going anywhere

Usman is making it so easy. If you ask an alien who just landed on earth as of who averages 58 in tests out of these two, he'd pick Usman every time

wicket to wicket is what we need on this clay. get doug on

this was a bad game to sub in sodhi. accurate any spin (even pretend spin) is the other need.

The fact that Uz could look well below his best and still accumulate a fairly stylish 40 something off 30 something really highlights how ridiculous the aussie selectors have been.

Hah, the commentators are approaching C9 parody status now. Sodhi bowls a proper half-tracker, and Cumming exclaims that Sodhi "isn't letting Bailey settle at all"
