He's verrrry loopy and slow through the air. Gets good drift and decent turn but length tends to be erratic. Think Sodhi's action with Astle's pace.

Enjoyed!?!?! I've watched it on loop for 10 minutes to cure my mood after the ODI. Arrogant shuffle across and down, given out to a ball that was clearly missing leg, gets in a stoush with the umpire and seemingly gets sledged on his way back to the sheds. Brilliance. And incredible arrogance at 10-3 from a guy who's ego is writing cheques that his ability can't cash.

Popli is in some kind of form at least at the first class level.

His last 7 innings at FC Level have been; 91, 32, 33, 116, 68, 46, 133; 519 runs at better than 70 with two hundreds.

If there is one thin Baz does it is score hundreds. I think he has 8 or 9 for BOP now.

Very glad to see Fraser make a decent come back with a near hundred in the second dig vs Otago. Fraser was as good as Harry Boam but firebirds prefereed Harry over Fraser some years ago. The break from cricket for a year and moving club seems to have helped Fraser. Many years ago he was touted to be a black cap.

... Can see Walker spending a lot of time playing for ND A, yet never getting the call-up his performances may deserve. I don't doubt he'd succeed (in relativistic, 'for an NZ spinner' terms) if he was picked though...

Walker gets a chance on a day 4 pitch today, after Sodhi added to NZ ODI squad. Good choice, think ND are better giving Walker game time in Plunket Shield ahead of Jono Boult,more potential.
