How long did they take to ask for the review there?
It's a tricky call. Sites have England as favorites now. The thing is Rabada and Abbott are back. So yeah, England are probably favourites but not by much imo. This will be a good test of England's batting. For the first time after the World Cup, they'll be batting on a slightly tricky pitch against a good attack.don't understand how Eng aren't favourites here. Sure they'll bat 2nd on the wicket but they'll know how its played.
TBF, that's what reviews are for. The type of dismissals you do not really need to appeal for, but still are given not out. Then you review. What the bejesus happened there
umpire gave it not out, start celebrating, oh yeah we have to review
Excusable as they thought the bloke had walked. How long did they take to ask for the review there?
Yeah but the middle of the pitch group hug doesn't usually take priority over the review signTBF, that's what reviews are for. The type of dismissals you do not really need to appeal for, but still are given not out. Then you review.
The point obviously going wrong here, that this wasn't the type of dismissal you needn't an appeal
ohhhhhh that makes sense.Excusable as they thought the bloke had walked.
Would be interesting if a batsman makes the fielders think he walks, just to kill review time.......Excusable as they thought the bloke had walked.
There really are moments this is not true. Not saying that per se happened here (though the appearance of walking surely makes a difference).I'm not convinced that wasn't a bit of gamesmanship from Morgan. Celebrate, have a quick word with the bowler and the keeper to buy yourself time to think about it...
Regardless, the umpire shouldn't have allowed the review. It was out of time. The reason for that is irrelevant. You celebrate when the finger goes up.
haha, I lol'd25/1 off the last 5 overs really not good enough at the death, they could probably use the kind of allrounder who fetches millions in the IPL to come in at number 8, though that's a ridiculous fantasy
But it didn't even look like he walked. He made sure to get back in his crease, stood there, signalled for gloves, then wandered over to meet the guy bringing the gloves. There really are moments this is not true. Exactly. In every single scenario he would have thought he hit the ground... And then not risk running himself out.But it didn't even look like he walked. He made sure to get back in his crease, stood there, signalled for gloves, then wandered over to meet the guy bringing the gloves.
Missed the signaling for gloves....... I figured he walked.....But it didn't even look like he walked. He made sure to get back in his crease, stood there, signalled for gloves, then wandered over to meet the guy bringing the gloves.
