I've never seen him bat in my life but the ZF guys have compared his batting to Sean Williams in style, which would more or less make the answer to that question "yes".
Who are the more hyped guys from Zimbabwe of this squad?

I went back through Murray's scorecards and found Snyder did a bit better in a 2014/15 cubs week with the South African franchises. That 123* still must make Murray better than 5/1.

I'll probably look for a cash out opportunity with Snyder too though. Can envisage a No. 5 drop from paying $7.50 (currently) to $2 pretty quickly as Curran rips through his old team.

Isn't there a betting thread or summat, whenever I come in here it's just talk of bets.

I've oddly not been hugely impressed by Lawrence here, He's been okay but some of his stroke selection has been crap, Holden needs to get a move on too.

Mashinge (seamer who bats a bit, sending down pies at first change right now sadly), Murray (keeper/batsman) and Mavuta (erratic leggie who bats a bit), primarily. Lots of doom and gloom about this squad though; those in the know were worried this year's crop might be worse than Namibia's.

Snyder usually opens. Cricinfo have him down at 5 for this game but I wouldn't trust them particularly.

Mahdhevere looks okay, but this is depressingly familiar from an England POV, letting spinners bowl at us in ODI's without exerting any pressure on them.

Best spinner hasn't even bowled yet. :p Tbf though he's liable to go at 7s even if he takes a bag.

Has there ever been the first five bowlers in the innings with the same initial?

That's not really a question I expect to be answered BTW.

Meh Lawrence, really strangled by the spin.

Well South Africa are 5/36 against them right now, so maybe that's less bad in practice than on paper.

Yeah part of the reason they were so worried about it was the fact that they had a look at Namibia play and thought they were a bit good.
