Commentator in the Arsenal game was trying really hard to push the "magic of the cup" narrative. Went into overdrive when Burnley had a decent 10 minutes.

I don't think he's ****e at all when he plays, but he's pretty useless because he never plays.
Yeah, this. He's in Arsenal's strongest 14 (if that's not a thing I've just invented it) but it's basically pointless if you're always injured. Showing no signs of improvement either, and we'd surely be better off replacing him with someone more reliable. Wenger won't though.

Well done to your lot, days like this is why we sit (or stand if your at a proper football club) through the **** for decades:)
Yeah we are real Jekyll and Hyde at present. Beat league leaders away last week, lost to team in relegation zone at home Tuesday and beat a flying Sheff Wednesday today. Probably get to a quarter final and get relegated in the same season.

I was just surprised Torquay still exist TBH.
Awful team. Can't believe we were hanging on at the end

Two great goals though. Our favourite player James Norwood with yet another beauty as well

In the play off spots now so onwards and upwards

Tom Nichols wasn't in our squad, guess he'll be gone, as long as it's not to Leeds I'll accept it I guess.

All this money we're making recently means we'll probably bring Norwood back to play in the reserves, or Truro as they're otherwise known.

In seriousness, if we don't go up I'd expect a League 2 club to bid for Lord Norwood. By all accounts he's come on a lot since you had him as a kid.

He always had talent, just a questionable attitude, we thought he was going to be a superstar after the first few games for us. So the disappointment was big when he seemed to just not put in the effort.

I'm kinda serious about getting him back, he has admitted he was a **** back then

"I came on against Leeds for my debut and made a couple of starts before I went on loan to Sutton United. I did well and got a new contract.

"The next season I was top scorer in pre-season and I was sent on loan to Forest Green. I felt like I deserved a shot and if I'm honest my head went a bit.

"I got dragged into things a professional shouldn't get dragged into like nights out before training, eating bad food and it didn't help my game.

"Looking back now, I was sent out in August to Forest Green to say, 'Go for three months and come back and be in and around'. But I saw it as, 'We don't want you'. My attitude was terrible''.

Yeah he's still got that edge to him, took a while for our fans to warm to him when he was unfit early season (injury not poor attitude related) but he's really shown his class since. Our season would be over but for him, and it says a lot that he was keeping Mangan out of the team and yet he's slotted in straight back at Shrewsbury who are obviously a much better side than us

Only thing keeping Norwood at this level is his failure to put one on ones away.

Beyond a bad joke really.

If the rumours about Isco being offered for £25m are true then Arsenal should jump on it.
