Wasn't it with you Hurricane that I had that avatar bet that Voges would average at least 40 for the series?

Prognosis of a side strain
With appropriate physiotherapy management, most patients with a side strain can make a full recovery (i.e. return to sport or normal activities) in a period of 4-6 weeks.
The first test is in 3 weeks - which means Ross will have to have a very quick recovery. Put him down as a 20% chance to play the first test and locked in for the 2nd.

if ross isn't fit can we please play munro and give him a baz license
No thanks. Given a world of events I would rank before giving Munro another test cap, I would personally support the human sacrifice of Sohaib Maqsood to the cricketing gods before playing Munro.

If he comes off he could well put us in a winning position. While we have better long term options he's our best option for a one series no-strings-attached blitz. Debuting anyone against aus is rough.

Computer says no.

Slogging in tests doesn't work. End of story.

Your argument that it is against Australia so anyone else would fail doesn't hold water either since we are playing in home conditions. And Australia in New Zealand are not a nightmare to deal with.

I guess your idea gives us something to discuss - but I would prefer better suggestions to sink my teeth into. Munro? Why not Luke Vivian then when he was in his prime.

No Munro. No further correspondence will be considered by the judges unless submitted at or before 6:55pm the 23rd of January.

lol wut

I'm not the one making comments about who is going to thrash who during the series. That would be 4-5 random NZ posters.

shocking post

smh
I'm making the joke that me and phlegm are in a relationship and that I perceive you as a threat. Now that I think about it the latter is much funnier than the former.

I just think it'll be really funny

I would move Brendon to 4 and Anderson to 5 if Ross can't play.
Interesting, but no thanks. Corey may one day fill the BMac role at 5 but I dont think he'd cut it as a specialist test batsman just yet. Would go the conservative route and select Brownlie.
