Crazy that van Zyl is bowling to Finn. Not like if the new ball becomes available it matters as they will only have about 3 or 4 overs with it before lunch so just bowl the best 2 bowlers now.

Can someone please hook me up with a dodgy stream? extracover.info is showing the Big ****ing Bash on the only channel that works for me.

Mods, please delete this post if it is illegal.

SA have a huge advantage now... With Steyn and Philander back at Centurion, I think Root's dismissal will be the turning point in the series...

This game is going so similar to SA vs India Cape Town game of 2011 when Sachin scored his last Test 100. SA led by 2 runs after the first innings, I think, after making around 363.

I suppose the degree of advantage depends on how much the pitch deteriorates before we bat last.

And how well we use the new ball this time.

Yep, you really would like to think we would bowl much better this time around.

I wouldn't say that yet. Plenty of pressure on South Africa and their batting hasn't quite showed up other than the once innings in the second test. They will need to post a big total here on Day 3-4 with the pitch worsening..with the knowledge that one more collapse and the game is over.

Think it's more that England would have wanted a 50-odd run lead to counter the fact that they have to bat last.

Mind you, the fact that SA don't have a good spinner negates that somewhat.
Yeah, sure but there is no way SA have a huge advantage.

Well, I guess we need a serious collapse here. One of Jimmy or Broad will have to be at their best.
