***Official*** India in Australia ODIs 2016

Stepping down from the captaincy will almost certainly mean retirement though.. Do we have a keeper batsman to take his place?

This is why I don't want Ishant Sharma to play ODIs ever. This really destroys his confidence and he may carry that into test matches in future.
Yeah, have been saying this since early last year. He's become half decent in tests and he should stop playing LO cricket for india

Ian Chappell laying into Ishant for not growing into international cricket and being outbowled by Sran. Also quoting Shane Warne's words for Ishant's saying "he's played 1 test 68 times over"

Looking at the scorecard, you might think that Maxwell played sensibly and intelligently to get the team home for a change

But no, he literally could have been out 6 or 7 times
didn't watch, just looked up at the scorecard and literally did think he grinded it home with singles, was proud for a moment lol

Really not surprised I got back to this. Our batting was decent but decent with our bowling lineup doesn't win you matches.

Agree with what Spark said, Smith's a seriously good middle overs bat.

Also, it's nice to see Bailey up his average against India to what must be close to 90 now.
Rohit's must be high too

I'm pretty sure Dhoni will retire after the World T20 and I'm OK with that. He's not the type to overstay his welcome. He's been one of our best ever cricketers in shorter formats and that should not be forgotten.

Simply one of the best ever. You don't need to add the country qualification.

Fair result. India should be happy the match kinda looks close. That's the best result they can hope for with the team they have - non existent batting beyond Rohit and Kohli, and weak bowling. A clean sweep is on the cards unless Aussies feel generous and slip up in their intensity(which they won't, most likely).
This match was almost a re-enactment of the first, so I am gonna re-post my comment from couple days ago. This series is so booooring!

Dhoni's negative words to the new comers is ****ing brutal. Might be one of the best ever bats but he has lost it now. Should just **** off by himself or be stripped of his captaincy. His way of sticking to a set formula without trying new **** these days is infuriating. Time to move forward instead being stuck to one spot with him.

This is about Rishi?

It's a classic case of 'die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain' for Dhoni. Personally, I think if he can't get anything out of this ODI and t20 series, then he should quit before world t20.
