Well I guess they think it's Y2J. I'd be sending out a message asking Goldberg if he still wants one last match. You're looking at 'outsiders' as your biggest attraction
How about

Pre-show
Battle-Royale (League of Nations vs. Wyatts vs. Social Outcasts vs. temporary alliance of Mark Henry and Big Show for a stare down feels like it would be good. I wonder how far Mark Henry can throw Heath Slater)

WM Card

New Day vs. Usos vs. Lucha Dragons TLC

Ambrose vs. Owens Last Man Standing for the IC Title

ADR vs. Y2J for the US Title

Charlotte vs. Becky vs. Sasha vs. Bayley for the Womens Champship

Brock vs. Rock

Undertaker vs. Balor or Bray, maybe with a loser quits angle (edit: actually DB here might be gold, Undertaker vs. DB and one of them is retiring after the match? **** it, make it the main event. Would be a great way for either or both to leave if they have to)

Roman vs. HHH for the WWE championship

WM looking v thin. Cena/Undertaker was the only rumoured match I had any real interest in seeing, so if that's off the table it's not looking good. Not interested in HHH/Reigns at all.

HHH vs. Reigns would be a gun match. Reigns has great spots and is a competent brawler, HHH will no doubt make it gold.

The buildup to the match? Less keen.

Bryan-Taker would pique my interest. Surely they have to clear him now?

That would interest me. In fact Bryan vs most of the active names on the roster would interest me. But I'll believe it when I see it; at the moment I'd actually be surprised to see him compete in the WWE ever again.

Lol @ Dolph Ziggler btw. Cuts a promo on Smackdown about how he's not going to be an also-ran anymore, but the main man. And then immediately jobs to Heath ****ing Slater on RAW. Way to go man.

Just saw it. Heh, the Social Outcasts getting a push could be hilarious (in a very cringe sort of way).

Meltzer stating that Styles and Nakamura are on huge money, far, far more than Balor who has the most lucrative NXT deal and he'll be very surprised if they're on NXT.

I have a gut feeling at least one of them will have a singles match at Mania tbh.

Going to a house show on the 16th and big match john was advertised, gutted. :(

So as somebody who has only seen these guys on random youtube videos, a genuine question: do they have any mic/acting skills?
Styles was alright on the mike on TNA, not good enough for hype/comedy but can cut decent serious babyface promos. Think Finn Balor level.

Nakamura isn't proficient in English and speaks with a heavy accent but he's all about the mannerisms and the catchphrases. They probably have a plan on how to handle the mic with him if they're spending big money on him, at least I hope they do.

One rather suspects that WWE are concious that a large portion of their audience are not the typical wrestling fans (i.e. people like us), and are concerned that people who are "WWE fans", as opposed to "wrestling fans", won't fully appreciate who these people are.

Ok, let's do some Royal Rumble > WM fantasy booking.

Royal Rumble comes around, Reigns enters at #1 and **** happens. He goes into full 'srs business' mode and dominates a variety of midcarders early on, throwing out each of the Social Outcasts as they enter and being the only guy in the ring to begin with. Things start building in the RR -- Jericho and New Day have a face-off, resulting in some sort of hilarity. Sami Zayn returns and looks awesome, and the following number is a Styles debut, resulting in some awesome 'oh **** yeah' reaction from Zayn in-ring. Ambrose and Owens, having damn near killed each other earlier, sorta bury the hatchet by teaming up to eliminate Big Show, before both turn to the crowd, shrugs their shoulders, and start beating the **** out of each other again. And then #30. Lesnar. He comes straight to the ring and immediately targets Reigns, eliminating anyone who gets in his way.

We get down to the final four: Styles, Owens, Lesnar and Reigns. Styles and Owens brawl; Lesnar hits Styles with a massive Germans and an F5 out of nowhere, Owens picks him up and hits the pop-up powerbomb over the ropes and into all the people Lesnar just eliminated. Owens kinda stays out of the way, Lesnar and Reigns continue trying to kill each other. They get each other on the ropes, Owens opportunistically dumps both of them and celebrates like a madman. All the while the Lesnar/Reigns brawl is still ongoing.

AJ Styles/Shinsuke/Sami Zayn/Hideo Itami
The following night, Styles comes out and cuts a promo about how being in WWE is a dream come true etc. Zayn comes out and fangirls a bit, talking up AJ and being the general good egg that Sami Zayn is. He challenges AJ to a match at Fastlane. We get through that PPV, and in the following Raw, Hideo returns. He tags with Styles against The Ascension (again, the whole 'share a ring with AJ Styles' thing). Hideo gets the pin, the match ends, and AJ goes to leave the ring, directing the applause to Itami. Hideo calls him back, and says that respect wasn't the only reason he wanted to team with AJ tonight. The lights go out, some weird new music hits, and we get Shinsuke Mother****ing Nakamura. Hideo's clapping and fangirling a bit, Nakamura says "I've been looking for you" and everyone goes nuts.
Styles + Zayn vs. Nakamura + Itami tag match at WrestleMania.

Kevin Owens/Dean Ambrose/Chris Jericho/New Day/Dolph Ziggler
Meanwhile, Owens is WWE champ. He sells how he beat 30 other guys to win it, even though he entered #27 and only made the three eliminations at the end. Jericho comes out and starts talking **** about him, New Day run in and start talking more ****. While Jericho is distracted by unicorn horns and Xavier Woods being Xavier Woods, Owens jumps him. Backstage the following week, Ambrose and Owens run into one another. Ambrose brings up his RR win vs. Owens, and says he wants one more match with him. Owens accepts "I'll beat you this time, and you know it." Jericho walks in and is Jericho, telling Owens that isn't how it's gonna work and that he's going to beat him for the title at Fastlane. Ambrose challenges Jericho to a number one contender's match, which Owens promptly interferes in, figuring 'if neither win, neither is the number one contender', but obviously setting up the triple threat at Fastlane. Owens retains, pinning Ambrose, and the following Raw, New Day rub it in that Jericho lost. He snaps back, and New Day make some sort of 'lol at least you didn't get pinned like Ambrose' comment, causing him to charge the ring and brawl with them.
Ambrose + Jericho vs. New Day in a 3-on-2 handicap match for the tag titles at WM.

Meanwhile, Ziggler makes good on his "I'm going to be 'the guy'" thing, and goes all-out in trying to get better. He embarks on a winning streak, earns his way into whatever number one contender's match they want to book at Fastlane, and wins it. The following Raw is Owens cutting a promo on him, calling him a joke who got lucky. Ziggler comes out and cuts a heartfelt promo about how he'd never been good enough, but now he had the chance to prove that he was good enough. He brings in Shawn Michaels as a trainer, a homage to Shawn/Lothario in 1996, regularly wrestles two matches in a night on Raw, with HBK visibly telling him to focus on different things in his repertoire -- "don't use strikes, out-wrestle him"; "don't take him to the ground, beat him on your feet", and all these things showing he's working his arse off to improve.
Ziggler vs. Owens for the WWE Title at WM.

Divas Division
Charlotte and Becky continue their feud/distrust/do things the right way kind of storyline, resulting in Charlotte losing the title to Paige at the Royal Rumble when Becky stops her from cheating to win. At Fastlane, they book a Female Royal Rumble match to determine the #1 contender, featuring pretty much all the active Divas on the roster and in NXT to get it to 15 competitors (though Bayley does not feature). Despite a strong showing from Blue Pants, and a shock entry from NXT trainer Sara del Rey, The Boss wins. We then get the obvious build towards that title match, while Charlotte/Becky bubbles on in the background.
Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch at WM. Probably bumped to pre-show.
Paige vs. Sasha Banks at WM for the Diva's Title.

US Title
The Wyatts target ADR in the Royal Rumble, basically comes down to Bray wanting the title for whatever reason. They feud, ADR is the face as a result of all the attacks. ADR takes on Neville and gets jumped mid-match, Rusev feels obliged to help his old mate, so runs in and gets beaten down by Harper/Strowman while Wyatt/Rowan take on ADR. Neville is all like "this just ain't cricket" and flips off something to take everyone down. Strowman clears house and Big Show inexplicably comes out to face off with him. Brawl etc.
Alberto del Rio vs. Bray Wyatt for the US Title at WM.
Harper/Rowan/Strowman vs. Rusev/Neville/Big Show headlines the pre-show

Brock Lesnar/Roman Reigns/Authority
Brock wants Roman. Roman wants Brock. Triple H doesn't want death in a ring so refuses to make the match. Heyman and Reigns go around him and set up a non-sanctioned match. Nobody is willing to referee, so Austin does it.
Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns (Special Referee: Steve Austin) at WM.

Undertaker
Sheamus says that this Undertaker fella isn't that scary. Undertaker proves otherwise by making lightning and Sheamus ****ting himself.
Undertaker vs. Sheamus at WM.

Random Other ****
Bubba Ray Dudley comes out and basically issues a 'wanna relive history' TLC challenge to any tag team around. Both the Usos and Lucha Dragons answer. Match is made for #1 Contendership.
Usos vs. Lucha Dragons vs. Dudleyz in a TLC at WM.

If you want, you can also have Triple H + Steph vs. The Rock + Ronda Rousey, which lasts about three seconds when Rousey gets in the ring. Screw it, let's put that in there too.
Triple H + Stephanie McMahon vs. The Rock + Ronda Rousey at WM.

WrestleMania 32:
P: Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
P: Wyatt Family vs. Rusev, Neville and Big Show
P: Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch
1. Dean Ambrose + Chris Jericho vs. The New Day -- WWE Tag Team Championships
2. Alberto del Rio vs. Bray Wyatt -- WWE United States Championship
3. Usos vs. Lucha Dragons vs. Dudley Boyz -- TLC Match to become #1 Contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships
4. AJ Styles + Sami Zayn vs. Shinsuke Nakamura + Hideo Itami
5. Triple H + Stephanie McMahon vs. The Rock and Ronda Rousey
6. Undertaker vs. Sheamus
7. Paige vs. Sasha Banks -- WWE Divas Championship
8. Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns -- Unsanctioned Match with Steve Austin as Special Guest Referee
9. Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler -- WWE Championship

The only result I'll bother mentioning is the main event -- Dolph goes to Superkick Owens, but he ducks and Ziggler gets the ref instead. Owens tries for a pop-up powerbomb, Ziggler floats over into the Zig Zag and tunes up the band. He hits Sweet Chin Music and covers, but there's no ref. HBK runs down and tries to wake up the ref. Mini-Naitch sprints down and counts two, but Owens kicks out. Ziggler loses.

Opening session of the next Raw features Ziggler losing his **** and Superkicking Shawn Michaels and ranting about how HBK actually held him back etc etc etc.

Later, we have an AJ Styles/Shinsuke Nakamura main event being built up. They start wrestling, but part-way through the match the entire arena goes black. Smoke is piped in, red mood lighting on the stage. Out crawls Finn Balor, and he stands up. Lights come back on, and two guys jump AJ/Nakamura. Balor laughs his arse off at the top of the stage, and removes his jacket to show a Balor Club T-shirt. The two guys pull off their hoodies to reveal themselves as Gallows and Anderson, also wearing Balor Club T-shirts. Ziggler eventually joins the group, allured in by Balor, to be the Superkick guy. Balor Club, naturally, feuds with AJ/Nakamura/Zayn/Itami for most of the year.
