feel like it's more of a ROH thing than a NJPW thing anyway. Seems like every second shirt at a ROH show is a Bullet Club or King Of Strong style shirt. They make appearances on ROH television. This hurts them too

Athlai

Not Terrible
Cool things about that Raw -

Social Outcasts are job squad 2.0
Y2J is back for the Rumble and cutting promos against the New Day, finally someone who can keep up with them on the mic
Rusev and del Rio actually looked strong
The Wyatts continue to attack randoms, please continue this
Neville KO and Ambrose are never bad
Reigns opening promo was pretty good, they finally seem to have found his character. The McMahons? Not their best.
Becky vs. Charlotte was good and the heel turn is fully complete, and miraculously the heel is getting heat and the face getting cheers.

It's a new year yes it is

Holy ****ing ****. I suspect this might not be true because NJPW breeds a very strong loyalty but Nakamura in WWE!
I think Nakamura had been pretty open at various points in saying that he wanted to work for WWE. I imagine he's still loyal to NJPW, but the allure of achieving a dream is enough for him to take an overseas sabbatical.

on new year's dash just then future WWE employees Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson just went to the English announce table and said they're the best mother ****ing tag team in the world and Anderson said something about always being completely ****ing dog**** hung-over the night after wrestle kingdom.

then Anderson too sweeted Sledger's boi Matt Striker

man it was so well done. can't wait for video to come up on daily motion. Kenny got the pin on Nakamura, then AJ and him celebrated for awhile with Kenny then turning on him. Now rewind a second, last night during Kenny's match, the Young Bucks, but only the Bucks, came out for sideline support. Anyway, so all the members of the Bullet Club come racing out to the ring, the Bucks restrain Kenny while Gallows, Anderson and Scott Hall's son attend to AJ. So the Bucks end up super kicking AJ, while Anderson and Gallows stand there stunned. Eventually they all too sweet and go to town on AJ, but it very much teased Anderson and Gallows leaving. Those two aren't able to leave just yet, but I think AJ is free to go whenever he wants as he was never contracted.

and then Kenny and the Bucks went back into the ring and did a super kick styles clash. Then AJ got a standing ovation while he bowed to the crowd. It was pretty awesome.

and then Sledger's boy Matt Striker ****ing said "where to from here?" or something and I lost it like kevin owens

Yeah Striker is a very good commentator IMO, but really needs to learn to use silence better.

bless 'em

anyway i really hope Roman doesn't start the rumble at 1. i know kayfabe wise it makes sense to, but i feel like Roman coming in at 20 odd would allow the first part of the rumble to help set up other matches and stories for WM, instead of Roman dominating from moment one. I'm guessing this Rumble tactic has it's roots from when Meltzer reported that the previous WM plans had been wiped?

Huh? Have I missed something, doesn't Roman have the belt?

I think on the whole the idea for the Rumble this year is a good one, but it will be weird having a WM championship match without a RR winner (as a challenger).
