Mmmm...

Means Duminy has been dropped, and reading between the lines they're going to call up a specialist opener - if they're getting rid of Rossouw.

So happy for South Africa. This is what I wanted to see for the last 2 months or more - a some sort of fightback, some mettle to demonstrate why they became number 1 in the first place.

In fairness, there's been at least 5 dropped catches that should have been taken, a couple of which were absolute sitters.

One aspect I thought about - if either of the two teams had a better spinner, maybe they could have exploited the pitch more. However, seeing as it is supporting the spinner less compared to yesterday, I am not very sure of that any more.

It's playing like some of the ODI wickets we had vs New Zealand last summer where all those 400 scores were to be had. Full value for shots as its quick and you can just play through the line.

SA just need to grind out a draw here and somehow stay alive in the series after being thoroughly outplayed so far. Then again, they still capitulated in India after the rain saved them in Bangalore...
