Yeah that's probably what's responsible, it usually goes Saturday, Boxing Day, Saturday, New Year, Cup. So everything's that bit more spaced out this season.Boxing Day being on a Saturday made it all feel a bit strange this year.
Amazing how one of the more overrated individual seasons last year has got to his head so much and actually made him a worse player.Would've been more tempted to pull Coutinho instead if Firimino there, one of those games where he's more interested in trying to cut back in for the curling speccy than anything else.
Remember his first season and a half when his best attribute was his killer through balls. Who would he even play them to now? Sort of going through a phase like the one Ozil went through when all of Arsenal's fast, direct players were out injured. Except where Ozil would just resort to sideways passing and drifting out of the game, Coutinho is trying to do everything himself.Amazing how one of the more overrated individual seasons last year has got to his head so much and actually made him a worse player.
True. Benteke was definitely a bad signing. He's looked better in the big games when Klopp has used Firmino up top. But you've still got to try and work with your surroundings. I don't mind occasional long shots, but he took five today that just went straight into defenders <5 yards away. Wait for the space to open up at least.Remember his first season and a half when his best attribute was his killer through balls. Who would he even play them to now? Them signing Benteke is the same as Chris Sutton going to Chelsea years ago. A good player totally unsuited to the style of play that the side you are joining will use. Both thrive on crosses into the box which neither side do.True. Benteke was definitely a bad signing. He's looked better in the big games when Klopp has used Firmino up top. Though taking loads of shots without many really good chances has been a systemic Liverpool issue all season, under both Klopp and Rodgers.
Lol. Comms said he scored 5 in 2015. So only 4.8M a goal. Bargain that.**** me, we won a game. And Rooney scored.
End of days stuff here.
