Steyn is no specialist. It's natural for him to fling at it and not have patience or concentration once in a while. Was commendable how long he lasted.

Why oh why did you do that Dale Willem Steyn? A small first innings lead for SA would have brought this game into the middle of balance. This partnership really made me think it would be possible! Still fairly balanced though, this game.

I mean they are still 90 behind so that was always a bit ambitious with new ball/Broad to come.

If anyone had said to me when we were 49-3 with Cook and Root out in those conditions that 2 days later we would have an 89 run lead after the first innings i'd have said they were a total nutter. Been a fabulous effort so far, need to finish the job now.

Nah I haven't been watching -- genuine question to see whether he'd actually threatening batsmen or if he'd just slotted into an economical role. Love me some Woakes, really want him to do well here.

Not surprising really, when SA was decent it struggled in Durban, now looking so brittle it is being outplayed.
