***Official*** West Indies in Australia 2015/16

It was still spasming with Bravo.

Can't believe we have two more tests of this.
I'd be astonished if Bangladesh would do worse than this.

I know the history between Australia and West Indies, but I would not blame Australia if they told West Indies to **** off for a while, these test series between them is a waste of time.

Bangers would probably get just as wrecked with the ball but would bat a lot better than this lot,

Cricket, Lovely Cricket
The little which I did watch, I loved Hazelwood. He is so ****ing good. Will get truckloads of wickets in his career hopefully.

I reckon Ireland and Afghanistan would be at least as competitive as this. And why did Chanderpaul get the boot (apart from ageism)?

Years of being at odds with the board along with any other player did him no favours. Same old tale of politics.

Nobody wrecks Mustafizur Rahman.

But yeah bar him , the bowling would struggle, but the batting would be so much better than this rubbish.

Aussie posters...

I know their has been plenty of Boxing Day beatings over the years, but at least the punters would have shown up for a few days, what was the last blow out, and do you reckon this is going to be record low recently at least?

Pray for the people who have to sell these tickets, wouldn't blame anybody if they decided to stay at home and watched the big bash.

Have those wondering why Patto was here in the first innings now worked it out?

Looks so so good when he gets his length right.

He was pretty clearly short of rhythm in the first innings, hence all the no balls. He's still not at full pace yet.

Australia's administrators brought this on themselves. They could have rejigged the calendar well over a year ago before NZ planned their home season and had the more competitive opposition side play the big test matches of the Australian season, maybe 4 tests against NZ starting at Adelaide, and with NZ having a proper build up against state sides while WI played a 2 test series at Brisbane and Perth.
Boxing Day test will be a farce and a financial disaster.

For sure. That's what's so exciting. Super talent (take a lot for me to say that about Mexicans ;) ). I was saying in the NZ thread that Patto would mess up the kiwaahs when we go over there. A few tests getting up to full speed and rhythm against this mob will have him at peak come those matches.

You make it sound like NZ are at the beck and call of Australia.

Yeah this two test series against Sri Lanka less than a year after their previous tour is exactly the kind of lucrative deal NZ are always looking for.

I always thought home series were more profitable than away series.

Australia just seem to be in a state of denial as to the true standings in world cricket. No matter where WI and England are on the ladder they are always ranked as the genuine opposition, the likes of NZ and Pakistan invariably seen as minnows. WI are at Zimbabwe levels of bad, yet Australia's administrators still think the Frank Worrell trophy has some cachet. This iceberg should have been seen on the horizon from a hundred miles away. Having such a poor side playing such show-piece tests on the world calendar as Melbourne and Sydney is going to be beyond embarrassing. The chat is now about WI disbanding and playing as individual nations.

Australia had agreed to play a three test series against Pakistan in the UAE but the PCB asked to reduce it to two tests so they could play more LO matches. On top of that Australia will have played five test matches against NZ by the end of summer yet you want more than that.
