Oh and I tried to watch Raw again and caught the last half hour. Big mistake. I'm officially done. Not watching again until people rave about an episode.
Yeah, was complete brutality, no idea how I sat through that. If TLC wasn't free for us I'd completely forget about watching it. It's all so meh right now.
Yeah me too since the Rollins injury. I just cannot handle the excessive focus on Roman who is someone I really, really don't care about, particularly when they are trying to make him cut Rock promos like this week missing the point that the reason the Rock could get away with saying nonsensical claptrap to insult the opponent and entertain the crowd was far, far more to do with the 1 in 10,000 confidence level and crowd sense that he had and little to do with the actual content. Roman's clearly a different type of person and that's fine. Just stop insulting our intelligence.

Tator tot? ffs.
I've not even watched survivor series yet. Really oughta do that.
GIMH - do you agree with OS, duffer and Teja?

Sasha should really be the leader of New Day IMO. Would do a better job of Divas Revolution than this thing they're pushing at the moment.

Kofi and Big E as the guys who do the work, Xavier as the mouthpiece, Sasha as The Boss.

Took a look at recent goings on in TNA and found out that Matt Hardy won the title, immediately vacated it, and is now in an extended tournament to win it back again. What a ridiculous company.

Still amazes me that Matt Hardy is in that position in the first place. Bloke jumped the shark in about 2003. That said, his epic waaaahhhhh about Lita and Edge and the storyline that resulted had to be the nadir, surely?

They actually stopped saying divas revolution all the time and snuck in three, soon to be four, good female PPV matches in a row.

Sasha will probably be up soon, I don't think she's actually lost yet.

In a sense. I mean I never hate it when I do watch Raw or whatever but I never particularly enjoy it either of late, if that makes sense. It's just kind of there.

I'm too busy on a Tuesday night to watch it and cbf to catch up. Am sure in the new year I'll find a way in the lead up to mania, but I expect the time I spend on the network over Christmas (network and chill) will predominantly be old shizzle

Agree about TNA but you are way way harsh on Matt. And that storyline in 05 was awesome. Not a waaaah at all, his girl cheated on him with his mate, anyone would be annoyed. They turned it into a pretty good angle.

I mean I always found the calls for him to be world champ excessive, as was any comment that he was the better Hardy (longer term posters in this thread probably remember that I was a big Jeff Hardy fan) but to say he jumped the shark in 03 is completely unfair, he did a lot of good work in the years that followed and tbh I think both he and Jeff would be decent additions to a thin roster at the moment in WWE.

Yeah I don't blame him for being upset about what happened at all, and perhaps calling 2005 the nadir was harsh -- I remember some YouTube videos a while back that made it look like he'd completely lost it.

I think there were times when Matt definitely was the better Hardy tbf to him. Jeff definitely ultimately reached a higher level in the end, but he didn't really get his singles matches nailed down until the mid 2000s at the earliest. From their debut until about 2002-2003 when they appeared more or less exclusively as a tag team Matt definitely helped glue their matches together and supported Jeff a lot, and I think that often gets forgotten. And yeah I agree his 2005 feud with Edge was great, it's probably the most over he has ever been, and ever will be.

Not really a fan of the Sasha with New Day idea. New Day are great just as they are, and I can't see how adding Sasha to the mix would actually improve them. Would rather just see her get a chance to actually do something and be herself. At the moment she's serving as a prime example of why I'd rather not see anyone else cool get moved up from NXT. Six months ago she was pretty much the hottest thing in all of wrestling, and now...
