That would have been a fascinating little series especially if you had mustafizur rahman gunning it, especially coming after the ashes.

Definitely would have been interesting than this series which needs to get into the sea.

Just that Voges could be even closer to the 100 average after 20 innings if he made a ton over there, as compared to likely having to finish off the 20th innings in New Zealand.

Do people really actually care about **** like "you can't break so and so's record because you're not good enough/don't have the standing in the game" etc?

The history of cricket is littered with unexpected people making big scores or taking a bag of wickets or setting records. If you have to fudge declarations at weird times etc to preserve the "sacred" nature of a triple-century, or whatever, then that sacredness is manufactured BS anyway.
