I think it would have been good for this game if Lyon had been given out like he should have been. Even with the lead I doubt NZ would have put up a substantial total. OZ may well have had a 250 - 280 chase for a win on the fourth day. Would have made for a fantastic game.

Instead now Australia have parity and with NZ brittle in the batting department we could be looking at a 150 chase for Oz. And Oz will not make the same mistakes twice.

For reason I'm not completely worked up over the Lyon decision.

And seriously, bat now with the pitch flattening out a bit, it's sunny, Australia are without their best bowler and the ball will be 25 overs old before it's dark.
