Anyone who can seriously sit there and say the kid doesn't have a tremendous amount of batting talent is off their rocker. Give him 12-18 months and he'll be a regular in this test team. Needs to drop the bowling though.

I like that you're passionate about ND but overconfidence...what? He got cleaned up by a nut way too quick, after a streaky innings - albeit one with a certain amount of determination. Based on what I've seen - granted you've seen more - I see a certain amount of talent. I wouldn't for a second use 'tremendous'. Somehow you're advocating that he'll break into a middle order that has Taylor, Anderson, Neesham, Watling, possibly Will Young etc. He's better than none of those.
