australia have definitely missed a bowling partnership like this which doesn't look flashy but tests williamson and latham 6 out of 6.
This is what people thought about the white one at first too. As long as it actually holds up, which I have my doubts about, you'll get used to how it looks.
not whinging just observing. i really want day night to work.

Good from Latham. The batsmen need to remember that these two are the pressure builders. Scoring will be much easier when Starc comes back or Mitch Marsh come son.

I sometimes wonder if they forced Latham into whatever regime Kane does we'd have the best 2-3 in the world

Getting bogged down is only really a problem if you think it's a problem. I was kind of worried he would though.

Lyon is bowling superbly. Would've had a couple of wickets were it not for the fact our two calmest batsmen were batting.

Latham's problem is not lack of singles or boundaries.

It's that his technique deteriorates after about 80 odd deliveries andhe starts creeping / falling over to the off side. It makes him susceptible to both lbw and pushing outside his off stump as he's not properly balanced.

Can't tell if commentary is just taking the piss or have they forgotten Lehmann was a decent part timer

Yeah I wanted to scream this at Chappell so much.
