**Official** Pakistan and England in the UAE 2015/16

Good series win for England this, yes Pakistan are dire in this format, but still good to keep up the momentum after the summer.

Pakistan shouldn't bother trying to chase this, England have about 120 to many for them.

King Pietersen

International Captain
Holds the record for the three fastest England ODi hundreds. 46 balls today, 61 against Sri Lanka at Lords and 66 against New Zealand at Edgbaston.

GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
Just sat on a conference call and barely listened to a word because I was watching the Jos innings. ****ing hell.

He's back

Super stuff this from Buttler. He came to the crease on 36th over and then surpassed the score of the other centurion!

Azhar Ali and Ahmed Shezhad opening, just the pair you need to get off to a start to chase 350:laugh:

anybody want to guess Pakistan score?

I say all out for 258

Can't forget Roy's innings. Looked ropey at times but set that platform with Root and Buttler is coming in at his ideal position now with he and Taylor being switchable depending on circumstance.

In the history of ODI, England for the first time has figured out exactly how to bat in ODIs. They've discovered this after the World Cup and are doing a pretty good job since then. However incidentally their bowling isn't very good now; but there is enough time for improvement before the 2019 World Cup in England. If their bowling really improves by that time, they will be a real frontline contender.

The silly thing is, it should not have needed a wretched world cup for them to figure it out, they were so bad in the 18 months or so before the world cup, the absolute beating India gave them in England should have woke them up, but they buried their head in the sand. The bowling is a fair point, but I think next summer and in the build up to champions trophy you will see Broad and Anderson eased back into ODI cricket, Anderson especially in England will definitely help the bowling for the champions trophy.

I think this chase is going to go the way of a lot of them when going for a huge score. They have to hit out at everything which means wickets will go and likely end up losing by 200 runs.
