Southee is a horrible 9! All he does is slogs! I'd rather have Boult ahead of him. At least Boult can block.

Scores jammy runs, sort of like a discount version of Harby. Definitely a place for that at 9.

Obviously an actual proper batsman would be better but this is the tail. You take runs in the way you can get them and there is no arguing with the results our tail has put on the board in recent times.

yeah this is the perfect situation for an engine room troll. most first innings are.

He'd be okay if he showed any signs of wanting to show backbone when required. Through *insert amount of tests played here* he hasn't.
