**Official** New Zealand in Australia 2015

It's funny how australia is considered by many(including myself for a long time) to be a place that provides alot of assistance for seamers, but after watching the india series and this one, im no longer sure that australia is that much better than the subcontinent.

Crap like "earning the right to be aggressive" and "playing our style of cricket" is pretty puke making. Just buzz words and fey claptrap. There's only two styles of cricket: winning and losing.
theres actually three it's called being prepared to lose to win it

It's far far worse and has been for a while.

Australia has always been flat. It's just that certain bowlers can rely on the bounce alone to enhance their natural attributes to get cricket.

That, and Australian teams are generally good at bowling.

In the last four seasons the only bowling side that really has had consistent success was the 13/14 Australian one. South Africa, England, New Zealand and slightly worse Australian attacks have all really struggled at times.

Smith should take Waugh's example and just let Warner bat for as long as he can. See if he can reach Hayden's best and Aus stick 700+ on the board.

You may as well be the team scoring the runs while the deck is offering nothing.

Well played Warner. If he can get through the opening half hour in the morning by the time I get up tomorrow we may have a new record score in test cricket. Hope he does it.

Dismal day for NZ, one they will want to forget about very quickly.

Even if Australia set us 800 to win off 30 overs, you'll hear crap about how the BC's are confident they can chase it down, then our last 4 will throw their wickets away playing loosely with the end of the day in sight.

Yep. Really need to get rid of this stupidity wrt early 1st innings declarations.

People had a massive waaaahhh about the recent Abu Dhabi test, but at least sides could build some pressure on that. At times the quicker nature of the Aus pitches just kills the bowling attack rather than helping it.
Bounce and pace just accentuates everything though. Bowl **** and you'll get even worse results, bowl better and you're much more likely to get wickets.
