This takes me back to Pakistan '09, when he picked up a cheeky 2-for at Napier. He can actually bowl.Guptill, now this is good

Why 2? It's so abitrary.Why?
Because if the review is there for the howler, why would you ever need your 2nd review? You wouldn't. You'd know it was out. Unless it was a no-ball, in which case you don't lose it anyway. Why?
Wait are you saying there should just be 1 then?Because if the review is there for the howler, why would you ever need your 2nd review? You wouldn't. You'd know it was out. Unless it was a no-ball, in which case you don't lose it anyway.
Exactly - the fact that umpires tend to make mistakes from the best position on the field suggests it's not always that easy (especially for LBW's). The third umpire could take on more responsibility.Might be different if you were stood at mid on at 200-1, having stood there for 3 hours praying for a wicket. Very different to knowing when to call for it on the couch.
Legit the best thing about Clarke's captaincy. Even inspired a thread.Remember how much of a golden arm Hussey was for Clarke?
Boulty, I'd wager, is still milky with his back. Brisbane should've suited him but he was awful. Southee, I can't answer. Maybe history shows he needs to be playing a group of Tests in a row, not none since June, to be at his best.Seriously this is beyond bad for NZ.
Southee and Boult have been considered world class bowlers but the **** they've been dishing up in the last three inning is awful beyond compare. How can two bowlers of such renown perform so poorly?! Sure the ball is not swinging, and Southee and Boult are swing bowlers. BUT, they are also experienced bowlers who have bowled in different conditions. They should know that if the ball is not swinging they need to bowl differently.
The pitches are roads. The grass is around the edges of the pitches, any seam movement is slight. The Aussies have more pace, a better spinner and all the umpiring calls go their way.Seriously this is beyond bad for NZ.

I do believe Rad Haddin/Hussey got Ryder that way last time. B-Mac never had an idea Pup didn't already use tbh. except quitting a match obvActually bowling for the legside stumping. Oustanding.
Try and adaptI feel a little sorry for Boult and Southee. So good in the right conditions. Masterly in fact. Yet these conditions do not suit bowlers of their type. What do ya do?
Yes. Then I could totally live with the marginal ones that are made on human decisions. From memory, they didn't think 1 review worked because captains and Shane Watsons gambled it away. Tough ****, I say.Wait are you saying there should just be 1 then?
