It doesn't work, sorry mate. The Indians know it. They don't trust the technology here in Australia and they have a good case. The technology is currently being used to berate and lampoon McCullum when it should be used to get correct decisions.
In league you don't have captains doing 2 reviews and trying to judge if a ball has been grounded or not. It is taken out of the players hands and the system is used to get correct decisions.
I'm happy with rugby and league use of technology. At least the technology is correctly taken out of the players hands and given to video refs, and is not used to vindicate crap refereeing.
 Okay then.

MY TEAM GOT ROBBED AND THEREFORE BROKEN

To reiterate:

This post is worse than complete and utter rubbish

So you get rid of DRS. Then what happens? All the marginal bad decisions still don't get changed. And a whole lot of really, really bad decisions that would have been fixed won't be.

utter stupidity

Skyliner to advocate getting rid of autopilot and black boxes because planes sometimes crash.

Our bowling performances (I'm thinking of the quicks) has gone rapidly downhill since Bond departed as the bowling coach. Are our bowlers really that ****ing forgetful in how to bowl well? JFC
reminds me of when australia had to keep calling in craig mcdermott to remind them bowling in the batsman's half was a thing. that was when johnson/bollinger, hilfenhaus and siddle were the attack iirc

but yeah spend this profit from the world cup they're bragging about on, you know, making sure your bowlers are fully fit and firing going into a test match.

Agree, at the time of his appointment I was like "WTF, Dimitri Mascarenhas, really"? Now I'm like "Mascarenhas, yeah really"

Clearly we're missing something

State Captain
Southee caught behind: nothing on hotspot, big noise at moment ball passes bat and the end of the bat hits the pitch.
Watling lbw: ball looks going over live, legitimate decision to review.
McCullum caught behind: sawn off by a howler.
Williamson lbw: DRS used to vindicate a coat-of-varnish decision where batsman should have got benefit of doubt. Review lost.
Latham lbw: Starc around wicket. Natural angle across batsman. DRS has it straightening from the time it hits pad. Still clipping outside half of leg. Review unfairly lost.
Warner lbw: ball taking all of bail, but umpire must be vindicated at all costs. Review unfairly lost.
Khwaja caught behind: another howler. Umpire misses big nick. Let's all bag McCullum.

IIRC McDermott actually changed the pitch maps they used two shift the good-length area two metres forward, and trick the bowlers into bowling fuller

Yup some fairly embarrassing posting going on if we're honest. NZ'ders losing both on the park and in this forum currently. Thankfully not quite all and sundry.
