That wasn't prior to his debut. It was 6 months after. As I said, he was one of the first in Test history to take 5-for and score 50 on debut. Apparently that's unknown.

 There's really no need to get defensive, Jedi. If someone said to me that our All Blacks fans are arrogant and unneccesarily gloat, I'd agree. If they said we're unreasonably pessimistic about our cricket side, I'd agree. Just cop it. Or say your cricket side is superior and that's all that matters. It's cool. I'm not saying just we are more learned, I'm saying every nation is. I'm just offering an insight from someone who lived there and was able to get a real gauge.
tbh I just feel really sorry for you that you feel the need to keep posting this rubbish

The majority of Australian cricket watchers are casual fans for whom cricket is just something vaguely interesting to have on during the day during the summer, so don't actually care about the sport at all because their emotional investment in it is low.
this. It's really not that complicated.

They could be worried about the batting. With Henry and Wagner playing the tail would resemble something like England's in the late 1990s.

Yeah we don't want to lose Latham and Williamson first thing or it could very quickly turn into a rout. Who is going to score a century for us apart from Kaneh or BMac?

Tennis - FTA has Wimbledon and I think that's it. Got a feeling one or two other slams (Australian?) might pop up on the Beeb as well.
ITV have the French Open and I think it's BBC that has rights to Australia. Sky don't show either of those. BBC have rights to the World Tour Finals in London but Sky also have rights and show every match as well (not sure the BBC show every match).

Sadly though, when I think about Dougeh at 8, I can't actually be 100% sure Henry's block-and-bash against international attacks isn't sort of like the way Munro >>> Tastle with the bat domestically

1 Martin Guptill, 2 Tom Latham, 3 Kane Williamson, 4 Ross Taylor, 5 Brendon McCullum (capt), 6 BJ Watling (wk), 7 Mark Craig, 8 Doug Bracewell, 9 Tim Southee/Neil Wagner, 10 Matt Henry, 11 Trent Boult

According to cricinfo. Of course this could purely be Coverdale's opinion

It's usually always the suspected XI so just opinion really.

Craig at 7 is going to be just fantastic.

Coaching Manual technique may lose out of biff domestically but it's been even less rewarding at international level for Bracewell. His forays into bad-boy-made-good conscientious defense have always ended in dismissals like Brisbane - bowled, lbw or edge behind like a not-very-good but 'real' batsman.

I do like Bracewell but both his bowling and batting are stuck at 'not quite' level.

Haha yeah.

I think craig can make it as a FC #6 down the road, but oz at the waca isnt an ideal place to test my theory.

Hamstrung by sending over another pace bowler as neeshams replacement instead of another medium pace bowling allrounder who can fill a gap for two tests in a 10 pack of mcnuggets for dinner way

Southee should be bracketed with Henry. Wagner, Henry and Bracewell bracketed for 2/3.

I get why it was never going to happen, but damn a fit Milne with a decent amount of 4 day overs under his belt would be an exciting addition at Perth. Anyway, back to dreaming about 'next time around'.

So win the toss, bat and pray that we keep them in the field long enough that their batsmen melt before it's our turn to bowl.
