Midwinter

State Captain
Futures league: WA, Cartwright has had a good game 82no and 54, Turner 70 and Wells 80no making amends for their first innings.
Who is this Larkin fellow and how old is Solway ?

In the ACT v SA game young Joof has had another good score 79no, Andrews 2/63 off 20

Vics lost 6 for 10 including 3 for 0, possibly due to C.White leading from the front , to end 26 behind Tassie. Silk got 40 and McDermott 76 to go with his 56 in the first dig.
John Coleman got 4 wickets in each innings including 3 through the sticks and a LBW.
Vics need 277 to win

One of riggins' victims; that's who.
as well as that claim to fame, scored a Shield ton last year and looked worth preserving with. (better than Henry anyway)

He probably would be in the side now if Ed hadn't come home.

Fast bowler Andrew Fekete has gone from the cusp of a Baggy Green to being dropped by his state after Tasmania wielded the axe after their seventh straight Sheffield Shield defeat. Fekete's axing was one of four changes to the squad for their Shield clash with New South Wales at Bankstown Oval. Fekete, opening batsman Dom Michael and wicketkeeper Tim Paine have all been dropped from the Tigers’ 12-man squad for the game starting Saturday, while fast bowler Ben Hilfenhaus has been rested.
