Taylor early through a weak paddle-pull, pretty soft. Neesham got johnson'd trying to dead bat it.Missed both dismissals so far so relying on cricinfo commentary. How ugly/soft were the Taylor/Neesham dismissals?
That is good news...when I heard Mitch was on his way over as a replacement for Jimmy, I figured it was because Tim was no good. And I liked it, if he was an option to play in Perth, which who knows - he still might be over Doug. Worked that way when Henry was brought in for the World Cup.It's just plain wrong. C9 just showed footage of him doing jogging/side-step exercises this morning.
If Neesham's back is as bad as they're saying it is, I don't think you can blame him too much for the softness of the dismissal -- Clarke got into a tangle with that type of ball on many an occasion throughout his later career when his back was crocked, and Neesh ain't half the batsman Clarkeh was.Missed both dismissals so far so relying on cricinfo commentary. Batting order wise, means it's either BJ at 6 and Santner in at 7, or Ruds in. Not keen on the latter. The way he is outside off stump and the bounce Perth offers...not gonna work. Adelaide, maybe.
Outclassed. Again, I like Jimmy but he's been dismissed by pace alone twice in a Test. Not ideal for a #6.Tbf a man with a broken back can only do so much but it wasn't pretty given Neesham played the same shot previous ball and almost got out.
Quite right, forgot he was there. Good option for Perth.Ronchi
Running down the pitch is basically the only time I ever end up playing pull/hook shots.lol pretty embarrassing running down the wicket and getting hit in the head
almost done it myself several times lol
Front foot pulls/hooks aren't real pulls/hooks.Running down the pitch is basically the only time I ever end up playing pull/hook shots.
Is this because of the pitches?Running down the pitch is basically the only time I ever end up playing pull/hook shots.
I only ever do it in indoor nets. It's just an adrenaline thing really. Is this because of the pitches?
