Really? I thought the whole deal was to try and bring cricket to America, expand the game etc. Otherwise why not just host it in India? Not really. This is not a great advertisement for the sport.. This is fun for people who grew up watching these guys.
Difficult to charge $50 for the lowest priced tickets in India.Really? I thought the whole deal was to try and bring cricket to America, expand the game etc. Otherwise why not just host it in India?
thought the sameWas that intentional by Sanga to get out?
That's neither here nor there. Obviously in the USA, prices will be higher. Are the players involved being paid a particularly large amount, that requires such sharp fees? Or perhaps renting the pitch? It just strikes me as a bit off if they're doing this as nostalgia trip, why not play it somewhere more hospitable to cricket?Difficult to charge $50 for the lowest priced tickets in India.
Yeah you aren't going to get any Maricans in to the game through this. Tell them as much as you like about how good these guys are but all they would see is some elderly gentlemen rolling it down at 70 mph.Not really. This is not a great advertisement for the sport..
