I don't like the guy but he just won the league and one bad set of results later people want him out. That's modern football at its worst.
People want him out to gloat about it. He isn't liked by fans of other teams as he is so good. Seeing him taken down a peg or two would be heaven for many fans.

Being serious though, they are in the process of putting up the worst title defence in living memory so the pressure is bound to be on.

This is true, but all personal feelings aside, surely the time is coming soon. They've been on decline since Christmas last year and have just completely fallen off the cliff this season. Worst defence in the league and their attack is basically hope Willian can do something good with a set piece or Ramires score a screamer.

He's got a forty grand fine and one match stadium ban. Still hoping for a 4 match ban for Costa, or at least a charge he's has until some time this week to respond to.

I feel like if this was his first season in charge the consensus would definitely be 'give him time, there's no one better out there, etc.' Kind of like having already built one title winning side is being counted against him. Like, no one would be calling for Klopp to go after 11 **** games.

If it was his first season in charge he'd definitely be coming under pressure. It's not just the results, it's the histrionics that have gone along with the results. If Klopp (unproven in England) had gone to Chelsea, had **** results and acted like a complete lunatic while doing so, questions would definitely be getting asked.

In the end surely ATM, it's more about him going insane, as you alluded to earlier. His decisions are becoming bizarre, and he just can't "manage" if the players, FA, Refs are against him.

The player revolt (if true) is a major thing, Jose has always been one who most players (particularly at Chelsea) would run through the proverbial brick wall for.

Yeah the insanity thing is what's made it a story. Especially since it was Mourinho who originally brought the possibility up after Southampton.

The board could always back him over the players that are revolting. Weird that it isn't even considered an option now when 20 years ago siding with the players over a Clough or Ferguson would've been unthinkable.

Maybe. It certainly makes the whole thing much weirder and harder to read. There's not really an obvious explanation which, given there's hardly any signs things are getting better, means it's really hard to see how he turns it around.

Worth noting Klopp also left Dortmund because he had one awful season that was nowhere near as awful as this. Obviously they'd have never sacked him though, so it probably means nothing.

Interesting that Miguel Delaney said Cesc was one of only five people still behind Mourinho the other day and now The Secret Football is saying he's leading a mini revolt.

If the Cesc thing is true then it's pretty dire. Wouldn't want him at United. Is it too much to ask these gits to be professional? I don't like everyone I work with but I do it anyway cause it the job.

Ftr, there's a big difference between what the Secret Football is accusing and what that tabloid said about rather losing than play for Mourinho.

I need the full press conference of this. Terry is an all-time great player, as much as he can be a crap human being.
