Very slow court, Petra won't like it at all, she didn't like it last year. Kerber seems pretty exhausted though. What is with the bookies loving Kerber all of a sudden? She was huge fav vs. Rada in one of the recent tournaments, and now she's favourite vs. Kvitova. I don't get it?
Nope, doesn't help that she's been ruining draws all year. You really don't like her do you? Do you post on Tennis Forum? As this type of sourness and unwillingness to give anyone praise is pretty much common there.
Umm once I think. Yet suggesting she's faking injury when she hasn't completed a match since Wimbledon seems a tad unreasonable, like her or not..Nope, doesn't help that she's been ruining draws all year.
Lol @ you telling someone off for being sour and cynical though.
Well only the USOpen did she do that, and she was on the practice courts leading up to it constantly, ruining draws all year, just makes no sense. she played 2 sets against strykova, but that was only after taking a WC, so not really mucking up the draw.I don't think she's faking anything, I do think saying she'll definitely play and then going off is both dishonest and annoying. Rest up and leave the scene to players with two functioning legs.
At least that's what she's been doing for the past month, so she grudgingly deserves credit for finally making a wise choice I guess.
Think Halep will win, court suits her more, and Maria is bound to have a come-down from the first match. Wouldn't really put money on it though, as Simona clearly has a mental block against Maria. Think Maria's big match is clearly Pennetta (hasn't beaten her since 2006 though, but Flavia looks semi-retired ATM), she should win that, and then who kbows what'll happen in the latter stages with game-time behind her.yeah agreed. Penetta was crap vs. Halep though so will be able to judge Halep better tonight vs. Maria.
Grecian - Halep 1.80 vs. Sharapova. Thoughts?
