OS, Daemon, Pratters - thoughts on this being up there with some of the dumbest cricket India have played for a while. Not necessarily worst but just strategically stupid decisions?

Can you really criticise Rohit for going for it? They are chasing 400+, there is no time for a measured approach, its always going to all or nothing.

Probably, but I don't know whether the dumb cricket we played today is each individual player's fault as such, unlike most other times. They clearly went in with a plan, Dhoni's even on record saying they should bowl short more often before the game started. Bhuvi's too much of a softie to tell Dhoni to change the plan halfway when he knew it wasn't working imo, I honestly think his over at the end was his way of saying "take your ****ing plan and chase it all the way to the ****ing boundary".

I don't get this attitude and people said it about WI vs. NZ. You realise just 2 hours ago Saffers showed you can score fast in the first 10 without batting like idiots. Like the perfect example of how to score 400 (i.e. bat well early, punish the bad balls, but keep wickets in hand) was just on display. Just copy it!

But in terms of the whole idea of being dumb, I am mainly talking about our bowlers.

As far as the series is concerned India have no one but themselves to blame, should have won the 3rd ODI easily.
